Assistant HR Manger. Dublin City Centre Full Time NEW

Hotel Talent is seeking an experienced Assistant Human Resources Manager to join the team at a busy Hotel in the heart of Dublin City Centre. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. 

Location: Dublin City Centre

Salary: €40k

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage HR functions and develop procedures with HR Manager.
• Assist with payroll, process new starters/leavers, and ensure accurate, timely payroll processing.
• Oversee employee file administration, contracts, job descriptions, and maintain work permission documentation.
• Support employee communication, manage absenteeism, and handle queries efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, uniform standards, and statutory training.
• Coordinate employee training plans, manage online platforms, and organise staff events.
• Assist with the appraisal system, disciplinary issues, and policy updates in line with best practices and employment law.

Candidate: 

• HR/CIPD qualified essential.
• Previous hospitality experience in a HR role.
• Have excellent IT skills.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication.
• Team focused and good at building relationships with stakeholders.
• Committed to continuous personal development.
• Ability to motivate, persuade, and influence the team.
• Excellent organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail.
• High level of discretion and integrity.
