Hotel Talent are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Training & Standards Manager to lead the learning and development function across all hotel departments, with a strong focus on Food & Beverage (F&B) standards. The role is critical to driving service excellence through the implementation of Front of House Operating Procedures and ensuring all employees are equipped with the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
This position partners closely with department heads and operational managers, coaching them to lead by example and maintain brand-aligned training practices across their teams.
Develop, implement, and manage the hotel’s Training & Standards strategy in alignment with brand values and service culture.
Lead the rollout and ongoing management of Front of House Operating Procedures, ensuring consistent service delivery across all guest-facing areas.
Partner with department heads (particularly F&B, Rooms, and Front Office) to identify training needs and develop department-specific training plans.
Oversee onboarding programs, skills assessments, refresher training, and service audits across all departments.
Facilitate engaging in-house training sessions focused on service excellence, F&B product knowledge, guest interaction standards, and complaint handling.
Champion continuous improvement and service innovation through feedback, mystery audits, and guest comments.
Ensure all training documentation, records, and compliance tracking are kept up to date and aligned with legal and brand requirements.
Act as a mentor and coach for managers and supervisors, building their capability as effective trainers and performance leaders.
Lead pre-opening training plans for new outlets or facilities, ensuring F&B teams are fully prepared and trained to standard.
Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through KPIs, feedback, and regular performance reviews.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospitality training or operations leadership role, ideally within 4 or 5-star hotels.
Strong background in Food & Beverage operations is essential – previous experience as an F&B Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of service standards and hospitality best practices.
Proven ability to design and deliver effective training programs across multiple departments.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across all levels of the organization.
