Assistant Night Manager – 4* Hotel Kildare Full Time

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Assistant Night Manager to join the team in a busy 4* hotel in Kildare. The Assistant Night Manager is responsible for overseeing the hotel’s operations during the night shift, ensuring the safety, comfort, and satisfaction of all guests. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to make sound decisions independently. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, possess excellent customer service skills, and be confident in managing overnight procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Night Manager in supervising the night team, including front desk, housekeeping, and security staff.

• Act as the main point of contact for guest queries, requests, and complaints during the night shift.

• Ensure the smooth operation of night audit procedures, including reconciling daily financial transactions.

• Carry out regular security and fire checks throughout the hotel and respond to emergencies as required.

• Prepare handover reports for morning management teams.

• Monitor arrivals and departures and assist with check-ins and check-outs.

• Ensure all public areas are clean, safe, and well-presented overnight.

• Support adherence to hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
