5* Hotel Dublin City Centre

Salary Guide: €47k

Hotel Talent is currently seeking an experienced Back of House Manager to join the team at a 5* Hotel in Dublin City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing kitchen and back-of-house operations to ensure a smooth, efficient, and safe working environment. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and cleanliness
• Supervise, train, and schedule all BOH staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and prep workers.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, sanitation guidelines, and company standards.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, and consistency.
• Manage BOH budget, track expenses, and minimize food waste and labor costs.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance or repairs.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and proper food handling procedures.
• Maintain clear communication with Front of House management to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Lead and motivate the BOH team to meet performance standards and promote a positive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a kitchen or BOH management role. 
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
