Events Manager 4* Hotel Full Time

Hotel Talent are seeking a talented and experienced Events Manager to oversee the smooth operation of events within a 4* property. The role combines hospitality, entertainment management, and event coordination to provide a memorable and seamless experience for our guests. This is an office (reactive sales role), working Monday to Friday, with some flexibility required. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Plan and execute dinner and events.
• Manage events & conferences, managing logistics and operational requirements efficiently. 
• Be the first point of contact for all bookings, from the initial call, the meetings, planning, all the way up to billing following the event.   
• Handle guest bookings and enquiries with professionalism and efficiency.
• Monitor event progress, address issues promptly, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Lead and supervise a team of meeting and event coordinators.
• Coordinate with Front of house operations teams, by creating BEOs, to ensure timely service and a seamless dining and entertainment experience.
• Address guest concerns promptly and collect feedback to improve future events.
• Ensure compliance with operational and safety procedures, including health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with hotel management, event coordinators, and marketing teams to ensure event logistics are aligned.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in a 4* property or large volumes event management.
• Proven leadership experience in managing teams, ideally in a high-energy environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with guests, staff, and performers.
• Knowledge of food and beverage operations and high-quality service standards.
• An eye for the finer details and to create a memorable experience for the guests.
• Familiarity with Operacloud. 

Salary Guide: €45k neg.
