General Manager Full Time

Seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee a daytime contract catering operation in Dublin (Monday to Friday). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing daily operations, leading the team, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the catering industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including food preparation, service, and client relations.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage and train a diverse team of staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored catering solutions.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service are maintained at all times.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality sourcing of ingredients.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management role within the catering or hospitality industry. 5* Hotel background required
• Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in relevant software (e.g., catering management systems, MS Office).
• A passion for food and commitment to sustainability practices.

Role  is Monday to Friday 7/7.30am to 3/3.30pm. Client meeting twice weekly.
