We are seeking a talented and dedicated Pastry Chef with at least 3 years of experience in the culinary industry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating high-quality, innovative pastries, desserts, and baked goods. As a Pastry Chef, you will work closely with the kitchen team to ensure the highest standards of quality, taste, and presentation, while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Role:

• Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods, following recipes and presentation standards.
• Ensure consistent quality and taste in all pastry offerings.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients, ensuring that the kitchen has adequate supplies.
• Assist in the ordering of ingredients and supplies, working within the kitchen’s budgetary guidelines.
• Manage the use of ingredients to minimize waste and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure timely delivery of pastry items for hotel events, weddings and daily service.

Requirements for the role:

• The ideal candidate should have experience in high end 4-star operational role of 2/3 years with experience creating outstanding desserts.
• Must have own form of transport to get to hotel. 
• Valid work permit
• Work well as part of a team
• Excellent Hygiene and HACCP experience
