Hotel Talent are currently recruiting for a Proactive Sales Manager to join the team in a 5* Dublin Hotel. This is an on the road sales role and will require candidates to be driving. As Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving revenue across the corporate, MICE, and leisure segments. You’ll proactively identify new business opportunities, foster key client relationships, and represent the hotel at trade shows and events. Reporting to the Director of Sales & Marketing, you’ll collaborate closely with a high-performing team and have the tools and autonomy to make a real impact.
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive business across key market segments
Manage a portfolio of key accounts while sourcing new opportunities through proactive outreach
Conduct site inspections, prepare proposals, and close high-value deals
Build long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders
Represent the hotel at local and international trade fairs, networking events, and sales missions
Analyse market trends and competitor activity to adapt strategies accordingly
2+ years’ experience in a proactive sales role within a 4* or 5* hotel environment
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Strong knowledge of Dublin’s corporate and MICE markets
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, results-focused, and confident in client-facing roles
