We are currently recruiting, on behalf of our client, for a Front of House Manager to join the team at a busy City Centre Restaurant. The ideal candidate will be charismatic and organised. This role will also include tip bonus.
Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Manage table reservations and walk-ins using the booking system.
Coordinate with the floor team to manage seating and table turnover efficiently.
Maintain an organised and welcoming front-of-house area.
Answer phone calls and respond to customer queries regarding reservations, menus, and general information.
Handle guest complaints or concerns with a calm, solution-focused attitude.
Ensure guests are kept informed of wait times when necessary.
Support the floor team during peak times as needed.
Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer-facing role (hospitality experience preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional, and well-presented at all times.
Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a busy environment.
Familiarity with reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable, ResDiary) is a plus.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
