Rooms Division Manager Full Time

Hotel Talent is seeking an experienced Rooms Division Manager to join well renowned 4* hotel property. This  role requires an individual with a strong background in hotel operations, particularly in Front Office and Reservations management, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional guest experiences. The Rooms Division Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel’s front office, housekeeping, and guest services, ensuring service standards are upheld, managing a skilled team, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving business results

Responsibilities: 

Manage daily operations of the Front Office and Reservations departments, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

• Develop strategies to optimize room revenue and occupancy rates, collaborating with the Area Revenue Manager on pricing and inventory.
• Ensure accurate and comprehensive reservation processing to support revenue strategy development.
• Lead and train front-line staff to provide exceptional guest service, adhering to established standards.
• Coordinate with department heads (Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B) for seamless operations.
• Monitor KPIs (occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, guest satisfaction) and address concerns proactively with the Area Revenue Manager.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluation for Front Office and Reservations teams.
• Implement effective systems for front desk operations (check-in/check-out, registration, room assignments, billing).
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in the reservation process.
• Engage with guests to resolve concerns and exceed expectations, fostering loyalty.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting challenges and opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate: 

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in hotel operations, with a focus on Front Office and Reservations Management.
• Exceptional organisational skills.
• Proficiency in PMS, reservation software and other relevant platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
• Be flexible and a team player.
