Sales Manager (Proactive) Full Time

Hotel Talent are seeking a proactive and driven Sales Manager to join the team at one of Ireland’s leading hotel properties. Reporting to both the Hotel General Manager and the Group Head of Sales, you will play a key role in driving business growth, enhancing client relationships, and supporting strategic sales initiatives across multiple revenue streams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively generate leads through direct outreach, client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and site inspections

• Negotiate contracts and manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact through to confirmed bookings

• Monitor and analyse corporate account performance on a monthly basis to identify trends and implement corrective strategies

• Manage corporate RFPs to maximize hotel inclusion and optimize account productivity using performance reports

• Drive business across meetings, conferences, weddings, and food & beverage operations

• Collaborate with General Managers and Revenue teams to develop pricing strategies and accurate forecasts

• Maintain all sales activity, correspondence, and contracts within the CRM system

• Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to stay ahead of trends and support the hotel’s positioning strategy

• Report regularly to General Managers and Head Office on sales performance, pipeline activity, and key wins

The Ideal Candidate:

• 2–3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within hospitality or a customer-focused sector

• A confident, outgoing, and relationship-focused individual who thrives on building and nurturing client connections

• Sales-oriented with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets

• Strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills, and capable of producing clear and concise reports

• Ambitious, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams

• Must have a full clean driving license
