Senior Duty Manager Full Time

Hotel Talent is delighted to announce the role of a Senior Duty Manager in a luxurious 4* property in Offaly. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the hotel during early and late shifts, ensuring all areas are open, properly set up, and welcoming for guests.

• Assist in Food & Beverage departments during high-demand periods and handle guest and employee queries.

• Support the management team as needed, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire prevention procedures.

• Conduct daily security walks, complete daily and Passover reports, and maintain clean, tidy, and welcoming public areas.

• Ensure the hotel ambiance is pleasant, adjusting music, lighting, heating, and candles as required.

• Maintain exceptional customer service standards, ensuring guests feel valued and encouraging repeat visits.

• Handle office administration tasks, including updating signage for promotions/events and revising SOPs.

• Address customer complaints professionally and ensure team members meet grooming and performance standards.

• Supervise the team in the absence of management to ensure smooth operations and adherence to standards.

• Assist with report compilation, payroll, and rosters, and ensure smooth daily operations by checking function sheets and VIP guest lists.

• Manage cash handling duties, ensuring all SOPs are followed.

• Liaise with management regarding promotions, offers, and assist with department training.

• Be flexible with shifts, as the hotel operates 24/7, and adjust staffing as needed based on business requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role within a busy 3-star or 4-star hotel is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the food & beverage industry.
• Previous Front Office experience is a plus.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
