Sous Chef for Hotel South Dublin

This Dublin city hotel is looking for a suitable Sous Chef to work in alongside the Head Chef and assist in bringing the Hotel up to the next Level. The ideal Candidate must come from a 4* hotel Background. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensure full adherence to Hygiene and Safety in accordance with the Hotel, Health and Safety policy and the Health and Safety at work Act.
• Support the kitchen operations for the property.
• Support the Head Chef in their duties.
• Lead by example in excellent food production.
• Assist in the training of existing and new staff in accordance to standards.
• To pass on all knowledge that will help the property in its day-to-day running.
• Maintain a high level of food quality which will exceed guest’s expectations with every dish.

Requirements for the Role:

• The ideal candidate should have experience in high end 4-star Hotel with 2/3 years experience.
• Must have banqueting experience.
• Valid work permit.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Have a passion for cooking, while creating innovative dishes for menus changes.
• Excellent Hygiene and HACCP experience.
